The Chairman & President

CIEL – CIE Lebanon was founded in 1974; and with this 2014 year, we shall celebrate CIEL’s 40th year of trustful services to all its customers and suppliers. CIEL’s Staff contributed highly to its achievements and stood behind Management  to adopt, introduce and implement new symbologies and technologies such as the Bar Coding, the Electronic Digital Signature, Green Energy and Radio Frequency Identification in both Lebanon and the MENA Region including Cyprus, the Arab Gulf States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Bridging the digital divide was a main concern of CIEL whereby several initiatives were launched in collaboration with UN/ESCWA, UNDP and UNESCO not to mention those projects that were activated with ITIA – The IT & Internet Association and thousands of computers were donated to rural governmental schools in collaboration with MEA – Middle East Airlines and Fransabank, and the goodwill and support of UNESCO.

I foresee further success and an incredibly bright future for CIEL in its systematic, well defined Cyber Security Applications which were preached over a decade now. In fact, CIEL/GlobalSign Electronic Digital Signature and its derivatives shall occupy a milestone in safety over the wild Internet and in safe communications throughout the World.
